purchased in nyc. golden brown color with mild opacity. minimal head. pretty stinky aroma with trace floral hops. almost a belgo-pale ale. flavor makes it seem not totally fresh, though i guess pilsener hops could explain that as well as part of the aroma. itís super light in body and totally drinkable. not much fruity/floral hops. mild bitterness and rather sweet. quite interesting overall, though not sure what iíd call it.

On tap, poured into a sampler glass. Banana and citrus aromas come through in strength with some pine and grass notes. It pours a hazy yellow with a white, thin ring and a light, wispy surface. A light amount of head is retained and a very light lace remains on the glass. The tastr is a medium sweet medium and fairly high bitter. Itís oily and slick with a light fizz and medium body. It starts sweet and citrus with a finish thatís spicy and dry. Itís clean and crisp with a spice lingering.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2014 Finally! Its been almost a decade and I finally got to try a fresh, sampler at brewery. Well, eh fine but dull. Its hoppy, just bitter with a vague golden beer background. Very bitter at the end.

Big Bottle. Pours a golden color with one finger head. Aroma of crisp citrus and mild lemons, and light fruits Taste is light fruits with slight lemon peel citrus and grapefruit. Average carbonation. Quite refreshing. Not overly hoppy like some pale ales, but finished with a smooth bitter finish. Enjoyed.

Purchased as a taster at the breweries pub. Light amber color with minimal head. Fairly sweet aroma, but slightly lacking in taste. I think I should have tried this before the Adam and Matt.

12 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Cloudy apricot yellow with less than half a finger of off-white ring. Aromas of citrus, floral notes, bitter notes, tropical fruit. Tastes of grapefruit citrus, wheat, bitter notes. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Low carbonation. Not terrible but Iím not really feeling this one, bad batch perhaps?

On tap at the brewpub - Pours golden orange with a bit of haze and a white head. The aroma has toast, creamy malt and some earthy hops. It has a medium smooth body with a bit of a bit and fairly soft carbonation. The flavor starts off with earthiness, toasty dry bread and orange zest. The finish adds earthiness and pine. Really nice APA.
