nose of unsweetened chocolate, light black with light red hues. light in body, chocolate, caramel. sweet, very light bitterness, nearly no hops. rather mellow

Dark brown color. Light chocolate, good roast and a touch of sweetness in the nose. A touch of smoke in the body, lightly roasted and slightly oily. Finishes slightly hoppy but overall is affected by it’s spritzyness.

a nice dark brown with medium sized head, good roasted chocolate malt flavor, but unfortunately way to thin and watery.

Too watery, but a nice roasty, sweet, chocolate flavor.

If it wasn’t so damn thin, it might be a superior brew. Very nice roast and, especially, chocolate flavours. A touch sweet like all HOTF brews.
