Ale Boy99 (19), Twin Lake, Michigan, USA Jul 17, 2002 Hoppiest standard beer sold here. Decent amount of hops.
daboskabouter (1469), Fergus, Ontario, Canada Jan 12, 2003 Golden color. Citrusy hoppiness and a light fruitiness in the nose. Big chewy hops in the body with a touch of fruit. Finishes long and sticky with not enough malt to balance things. AustinMilbarge (681), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Dec 28, 2002 I have to say I was impressed with the tap room of this little brewery, with the beefcake bulldog, Jake running around to the fish tank in the wall. The beer was pretty good. Hazy amber color, mostly diminishing head. Quite a bit of apparent Cascade hops, but there’s never enough of those in my opinion. This brewery should start distributing, but from the comments of others, they may need to make consistency a priority before they do that. hennes (932), Fountain, Michigan, USA May 29, 2002 Now we’re getting somewhere, but I’m not sure how far. One local, Tom, a regular, claims that inconsistency is the hallmark of this eccentric little brewery, with no beer tasting the same way twice. This is one they might try to emulate, or improve on a bit. Not much substance, and a touch of skunk flavour, but decent and very real hops.
