I’m not much of a style guy - ordinarily I could care less about how ’true’ a beer is to style and I hardly ever rate that way. But this beer gave me pause. It looks, tastes, and smells so much like an English pale that I had to ask the very friendly bartender if she’d poured me the right brew. She assured me and I have to say, it’s one strange dortmunder!
