loads of caramell to start off, roasty with real roasty caramell bitterness. very light in body but quite flavorful. dark dark brown with no head vinous flavors. lasting roasty bitterness

Dark brown appearance with a little red shining through underneath a tan head. Aroma is reminiscent of Guinness with the light smokey, burnt wood impressions. This beer falls apart in the body though, comes across thin and light and dries quickly towards the end. A touch of roastiness, but nothing that keeps moving into the finish.

Vaguely reminiscent of DFH Chicory, in fact - that stands out through the decent roast and pleasant bitters. One of two beers at HOTF with a real head and some substance.
