Very flat. Mono-dimensional, with only roasted barley notes present. Boy, this really needs carbonation!

No strong aroma present even as the brew warms. There are some hoppy hints in the flavor, but no malts, chocolates, or coffee. It needed more character and depth to be a good porter in my book.
