1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bottle. Pours an almost clear yellow fizzy soda/beer. Aroma is skunk and corn. Flavor is wet paper and rotten fruit. Start your lawnmower before opening.

1.6 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Aroma of bad fruit and corn. Looks just like beer but that is where the similarity ends. Flavor of wet paper and cheap perfume. Fizzy and very thin. Almost undrinkable "I wouldn’t even use it to boil shrimp in". Not much would be an understatement.

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Another quality island pale lager from decaturstevo. Pours very pale yellow with soapy white head. The aroma is moldy peaches and some harsh sweetness. Flavor is very light with some syrup and hay, and a faint lawn-trimmings aftertaste.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
A pale yellow color with a wack of corn and some skunk all up in your nose. The flavor was dull with some corn and a slight skunk to it. Just a shade better than the Piton I sampled prior but still not a good beer.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
After trying decaturstevo’s Piton at the April Get Together, I thought it would be all uphill from there; but I sure got fooled!
Pours a very very pale yellow with a thin, fleeting, white head.
Sour acidic grainy vegetal aroma. Just offensively bad.
Sour acidic tart flavor with a wet cardboard aftertaste .
Thin. Very poor.

0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 2/20
So, we rated the Piton, a perfectly crappy pale lager, so no where to go but up, right? Well, we hadn’t counted on this. Every bit as stinky as one might expect, plus the flavor, was extrememly faint, but what we could detect was vile - canned corn and aspirin, mostly. decateurstevo summed it up with "I wouldn’t use this to boil shrimp..."

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle in St Vincent. Old rating from circa 2001. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. And I really have got the t-shirt. Don’t usually enter old rating but since I’m unlikely to return to St Vincent any day soon, I’ll make an exception here. What about the beer? I think you know already. Just the same as pretty much any other Caribbean lager. Pale, thin and wet. Works OK ice cold to slake a thirst on location. Otherwise horrible. Needs to be drunk very fast to avoid warming up.
