Grassy blades salute fresh banana esters in the relentless cereal wind. The combined result is a jazzy, citrusy, spicy Weizen which is a fine pint to study or savor.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy head of foam settles atop the hazy yellow blond.
-The nose announces the flavor and the finish; this is fun throughout.
-The body is not as plump and cushiony as it could be, but it’s still a good weizen.
-Carbonation is comfortable.
-Gingery spiciness blends into the sweet and rather hoppy ending.
-Authentic and flavorful, this was my favorite pint at Hakodate Beer.
On tap at the brewery restaurant.
