Alu - plastic bottle 330ml.
Unclear hazy light to medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, rubber, banana. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20100110]

Draught at Craft Beer Festival in Ichinoseki, 2011. Pale gold-yellow color with lace. Malty, grainy nose, with banana, clove, and a tiny bit of citrus. Grainy, cereal flavor with banana and lots of clove and a slight tart edge. Decent.

Hazy pale yellow with a medium white head. Sweet yeasty aroma with banana and wheat notes. Sweet yeasty flavour with wheat and bananas. Finished sweet.

Bottled. An unclear light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has strong notes of wheat and a bit of banana. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat and citrus, leading to a lightly acidic finish. Quite refreshing. Thanks Theis for sharing.

Plastic bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Theis. Pours a hazy and opaque greyish golden with a small white head. Distinct banana, citrus and yeast in the nose. Medium body, sweet banana and yeast. No real bitterness. A very decent Hefe. 100110

33 cL bottle, courtesy of Theis. Pours hazy yellow with no head. Aroma is dry and wheaty, light spiced. Mild sweet, estery, citric and dry banana fruity flavoured. Dry finish with a distinct wheaty finish. Bitter and mild spiced finish.

Plastic bottle at Sosuke Ryokan, Takayama, Room 8. Murky yellow – white head. Licorice, wheaty, licorice yeasty, yeasty, high fruity, watery, minerals, zesty, light bitterness. Weird – boring.

Drunken notes suggest. Cloudy, bananas, yellow, balanced and well done. Good enough for me.

Tap. We drove south from Tokyo for a few hours to see some sights and stopped here for lunch and beer. The beer was a cloudy yellow with a wheat and coriander aroma and a nice foamy white head. It was smooth and clean.
