Draught at Q-Brick. A very strange, interesting, complex beer. Flavors of chocolate covered cherries and wine; slightly fruity, and slightly sour, but overall very dry. Caramel and a bit of biscuit there, and something funky like in a lambic. Has a long, dry, somewhat sour finish. Hard to get used to, but like no other beer in the world, I think. Fascinating and challenging.

Bottle at Qbrick, Osaka. Clear reddish - offwhite head. Diacetyl, caramel, fruity, buttery, butterscotch, berries, glue, beetroot, winey. Sorry it is not clean !!!

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2009 Appearance: Straw. Aroma: Cheese, a light sourness, sour cherry, hint of vinegar/oxidized note, toasted. Flavor: Mineral, moderate strength sour cherry with roasted, coffee notes on the aftertaste. Comment: The body seemed a bit thin but this is flavorful with a long finish. This grew on me as sour flavors take a bit of time to adjust one’s palate.
