Clear medium brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is heavy malty, caramel, dark berry, prunes, raisin, alcohol. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of faeroeviking. Pours deep brown and with a light amber glare and a fully gone head. Dense wineous and roasted malty aroma. Sweet malty, caramel and chocolate dense flavoured. Smooth and warming. Light acidic touch from the roasted notes. Lovely malty finish with a deep dark flavour and warming smoothness. Lovely

Bottled (2007 vintage)@The Chriso Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011 "Donkey Dork Lord Edition". Amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, wood, toffee, earth, mild tartness and some slight alcohol. Flavour is toffee, earth, grass, mild toffee as well as some slight burning alcohol notes as well. Yet very nicely balanced.

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2009 Bottled (2000 vintage). Dark ruby, no head. Peppery cognac aroma. Sweet and dense. Elegenat with light notes of wood, and plenty of honey and brandy with vinous notes. Under the pear brandy lies some caramel. An intense, compact beer with lots of things to catch your interest.

Bottle. 2007 vintage. Pours a dark brownish red color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty slightly vinous dark fruit aroma. Sweetish malty vinous flavor with slightly earthy woody hints and some weak hoppy hints. Has a sweetish malty vinous dark fruit finish.

30th July 2011>br>ChrisOs ’Donkey Dork Lord’ Pre-GBBF Tasting. Cheers Mark! Dark broen beer. Residual tan head. Rich toffee nose. Light dry palate. Rich dark toffee with a nice touch of subtle red fruits and a drop of brandy. Warming without being spirity. Very nice!

Draught (’04) at Popeye. Clear (cola) black (red glow) - white head. Candy, sweetness, rubber, barley, dried fruits, roasted, berries, cocoa, light chocolate, betroot, earthy. Nice smooth body.

Bottle, 14.3%. Vanilla aroma, clean alcohol nose. Clear very dark colour, reed shine. Good sweetish vanilla flavour. Rough citrus notes, perhaps graininess. Quite alcoholic flavour, burns a bit.
