A bit oily, some light fruit, and just a hint of sweet sugar with alcohol. I haven’t had many sakes, but this is the most drinkable to date. GreatLibations (1470), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Aug 11, 2006 Sho-Une means soaring cloud. Pours near perfect clear. Aroma of floral candy fruit. Medium nectar weight. Flavors are very clean with a slight fruitiness. No musty earthy tones at all. The finish is long and dry. Overall: This is the best sake I’ve had to date. Very refined and well balanced all the while retaining it’s delicacy. I’d call this perfect.
