Draft, Brouwer’s. Black, thick dark tan head. Very charred smelling with some smokiness. I get some dark chocolate goodness from the taste, but mostly I get overwhelmed by burnt ashiness. There’s some good chocolate and coffee characteristics to this, but they’re buried.

Huge coffee nose, fresh dark roast, subtle hints of cocoa and light patent notes. Black with a tan creamy head. Black, super dark roast, soft cocoa notes underneath as well as a soft hint of smoke/char. Extremely subtle darker fruity notes. Mostly coffee, roast, and char. Creamy full body, no hint of alcohol. Somewhat dry lingering finish. This was made by Hales? Wow, extremely impressive.

draft at brouwers 5th. jet black with a thick, dense, creamy burnt tan head. humongous coffee nose with roast and char under that. creamy medium body, tingly carb. coffee, bitter chocolate, roast, and charcon the mid palate. long dark resiny finish. like old raspy with a big body...dream come true, that.
