Dark brown pour with a thick, creamy brown head. Light aroma of roast and a faint sweetness. Tastes more roasty than anything, a little chocolate and some bittersweetness. Not bad. anders37 (4516), Malmö, Sweden Sep 25, 2008 Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a black color with a longlasting creamy tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Has a roasted malty chocolate flavor with some nutty hints. Roasted malty chocolate finish. Angeloregon (2024), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 9, 2008 On tap at Produce Row in Portland--A deep black-brown creamy body with a thick pluming head of whiteness. Soft, fluffy mouthfeel with a nutty, roasty, chalky, smooth malt body. A bitter, off-finishing palate feel that was good but not quite perfect. Still, quite injestable.
