On Tap at the brewery on 8-4-10. Jet black with a creamy nitro head on top. Roasted aromas in the nose. Flavors of coffee, dark chocolate and just a touch of sweetness round out this beer. More like a dry stout just a little bigger and fuller. Easy drinking with a smooth mouthfeel from the nitrogen conditioning. Not bad at all.

2010-07-03. Black body, small creamy tan head. 4+ Mild dusty roast aroma. 5+ Flavour is watery, mild roast, very mild cocoa touches, dilute sweet malt. Very light bitterness and lingering muted roast. Thin palate. Bland. It certainly delivers the creamy head it promised, but little else. Seriously? On tap at Hales, Seattle

[3097-20100703] Nitro. Roasty smoky malt aroma has mild fruit notes. Brown black body with a long-lasting creamy mocha head. Rich alcoholic roast malt flavour has an odd strong aftertaste. Full body. Not inspiring nor as smooth as I was hoping, a little too alcoholic. Nice shamrock.

Dark brown with medium light tan head. Aroma like a Starbucks. Tastes of bitter chocolate and roasted coffee, but very thin body. No finish to speak of.

Nitro at TFD Boise. Dark brown pour with a thick, creamy brown head. Light aroma of roast and a faint sweetness. Tastes more roasty than anything, a little chocolate and some bittersweetness. Not bad.
