Belgian Wit beer aged in French Merlot barrels for 11 months at cellar temperature. 4.7% ABV, 4 IBU. Tart & dry, aroma of bready Merlot, lingering oak tannin finish.

Tap @ PD. Clear gold pour with a brief, short white head leaving minimal lace. Nose is fruity, nutty and slightly white wine-ish. Medium body with light, fine carbonation and a crisp mouth feel. Wheat, grapes, lemon and almonds, with an almost riesling-like touch. No Belgian malt or yeast flavors. Finish is short and quite clean, with a bit of wheat and nut (think "Wheat Thins") flavor. Enjoyable in small amounts, but not very witbier-like.
