3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Soft citrus and malt on the nose, but rather subdued. Medium bodied, light malt, citrus and hops pick up and grab a little bit of a spicy note. Gentle malt with subtle melon and citrus into the finish. Easy drinking.

Draft @ SEA. Light hop aroma. Lighter shade of golden than expected. Hop flavor is a bit light. Light body. Overall a pretty good beer for low IBUís, but not great. Pretty drinkable.

Pours a golden yellow with a delicate white top that dissipates quickly leaving subtle lacings. Malty and subtle hop aroma. The hops really come through on the flavor.

3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Light golden appearance. Delicious nose. Refreshing, smooth, not super bitter, almost "thin" taste. A nice change from very bitter IPAs.

Plus two bonus points for the 6% alcohol content. Other than that, it is very very average.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle, purchased on 8/10/14 from Brennanís in Madison, Wisconsin during my stay for GTMW. Unfortunately I only noticed today that the best by code reads 8/07/14. Still going to give it a go, though. No time like the present. Props to this brewery for actually coding their bottles. 90+% of the local breweries I encountered at the market in Wisconsin didnít bother with that. Totally hazy orange yellow color. Lots of fine particles in the body hazing things up. Thin off-white head, that leaves good, thicker ridges of lace. First sip... Nice, itís actually tasting pretty good. Much better than expected. Big piney assertive hop, nice apricot bright fruity tropical notes to it, some mango. A lot more hop forward than Iíd expect your typical 6% IPA to be, really. The malt is more of a bready biscuity malt, light with the caramel. Bigger bitter taste, light sweet, some zest. Light bit of alcohol? Really, this kind of drinks like 7% plus (no ABV on the label, but itís identical to the red thing shown here on RB). Moderate bitter taste, moderate sweet. Medium plus body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation. Light slick. As I get half way through, more malt sweetness and slick texture comes out (maybe my palate needed warming up). I still dig it, though. Hitting the spot, right now. Much better than expected, pretty good for being technically expired
