nicolascage (102), Copenhagen (Virum), Denmark Oct 2, 2007 Bottle. Nice hoped but not that complex. Farly easy drinkable. Well brewed.
Naven (689), San Diego, California, USA Jul 22, 2008 Pours a cool looking reddish amber color. Slight, faded hops aroma. Flavor is mild hops, specifically cascade and columbus, I believe. Metallic finish which is completely annoying. Even with a rating of 3.1, im probably being a little too generous, as this just isn’t very good. Other than the metal taste, I really can’t wrap my head around what I don’t like about this. I think it’s just the fact that it really lacks any sustainable IPA qualities. I would be interested to try this on tap. JonR888710 (1000), Cochabamba, Bolivia Jul 3, 2008 Pours a reddish gold. Medium sized head. Aroma is spicy hops, pine. Flavor is pretty good, with more of the asaid spicy hops atop a malty background. Nice beer, not great. Purchased this 12 oz bottle at Whole Foods in Falls Church, VA. HoppyGuy (78), USA Jun 29, 2008 Bottle. It’s probably a good thing I had two of these. The first one was naot nearly as good as the second one. The first one was flat and indistinct, and the second one was more lively. Pours a slightly hazy medium amber with a decent head (the first one had va ery small head). Floral/resin/hoppy ufront flavor, with a bitter bite. Slightly oily mouthfeel. The second one was definitely better than the first, but I’ll just stay away from it because I don’t know what the next one would be like. AdamGott (156), Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA May 28, 2008 light peppery fruity hops lead to a malty aftertaste - pine resin taste lingers after drinking - a very good blend - nothing is overdone and nothing outstanding but I come away satisfied uhclem (112), Loveland, Colorado, USA May 22, 2008 They probably named this Mongoose because of the dead one they found in the bottom of the vat. Skunky.
