3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 hayduke (2445) - Eureka, USA - JUL 18, 2007
From a six pack of 12 oz bottles that cost $7.29 at Market of Choice in Ashland, CA it poured a nice honey orange with a vigorous and long lasting head and left excellent lacing. Nose of citrus hops and was very good on the palate with a rich mouthfeel. Flavor of pine and grapefruit. Finish is nicely dry and bitter. A very good IPA.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Syzzer (215) - Oregon, USA - FEB 7, 2012
Nice ripe citrus hops and aroma. Downside is that bitterness lingers. A very good IPA

Bottle. Flat tasting India Pale Ale. Hoppiness finally comes thru at the end.
Not a very exciting beer.

Bottle shared with JJ. Medium hazy orange with a massive bubbly light orange head. Aroma is quite phenolic, lots of plastic unfortunately, with a little underlying sweetness. Big plastic flavor too, underlying sweet caramel malt, bitter finish. Too much carbo. This did not come together well for me.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 trevor211 (915) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 9, 2011
Pours a cloudy copper with a smallish head. Grassy hops and mild caramel malts on the nose. The flavor is a bit strange -- there’s the tingling on the back of your tongue that normally tells you this is a bitter brew, but the flavor is most certainly heavier on the malts. It’s almost as if someone made an "alpha acid caramel," and used it to brew this beer. Hop flavor starts to show toward the finish, and the aftertaste is almost all hops -- but the progression is interesting, if not a bit weird. Sharply bitter aftertaste, and a good body. Good one from the local guys.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 michaelinwa (162) - Bothell, Washington, USA - JUL 31, 2011
Seriously underrated. Moderately hoppy IPA. Clean, crisp, relatively straight forward taste. Nothing stands out, but nothing to complain about. Seems like it’s not bitter enough for some, but I find it to be a reasonable IPA. Actually a pretty good beer for a 6.2 ABV brew.
3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 AWISLguy (267) - Wisconsin, USA - JUL 16, 2011
Bottle from Brennans. Pours a cloudy orangey brown with nice lacing. Small bubbles under the surface. Aroma is floral, citrus fruit and some pine. Taste is sweet fruit, some bitter citrus fruit, some woodiness. Slightly sour flavor. Somewhat sticky. Finishes almost non-existent. Starts solidly, shame that it fades away.
