Bottle pours a very reddish amber color, with a nearly non-existant head.   Lacing is minor, as with the carbonation.   Aroma is is of light hops and flora.   Initial taste proves bitter, but yet not acidic like most IPAs.   Light malt feeling throughout.   Mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing.   Finish has a touch of hops, but doesnt linger.   This one I've always enjoyed!

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a deep dark brown, but it’s a clear brown. Thick moussy tan head. Light sweet malt/caramel nose, and that’s what carries through on the palate. Subdued attack; medium body, low carb, restrained flavors. Almost nitro-creamy body. You could almost say it’s goopy, especially given that the pour is traditionally aspirated. This is a good soild little session beer, loaded with calories and sustenance no doubt. Not too much to write home about though. Probably a snooze in the bottle--hard to imagine this body carrying over there.

Ruby red auburn color with a quick disolving head and stagnant lacing. Aroma is full of citrus and fruit. Flavor has a nice balance malt body with a lingering hop bite. Sweet and dry finish, this is a good bitter.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2003 Medium brown color, medium head. Highly hopped. Medium malts. Nice hop flavor, good ale taste. Lots of flavor. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, nicely malty.
