A nice combo of sweet malts and light hops. A nice little bitter end on this brew. greenhorn1 (462), Mission Viejo, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 16, 2008 Bottle. Pours dark amber, big head, lively carbonation. Aroma and flavor fall on the malty side, a tad perfumey. Somewhat of a thin mouthfeel and stale. However, I believe that this beer would be much better back in the fall when it was supposed to be consumed. Overall, it is a decent amber. vacantskies (94), Spokane, Washington, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 17, 2002 Autumnal orange hue with a fine head and a pungent aroma of hops. Like the Hales blonde, this too was a bit flat--detracting slightly from the overall score. Smooth with not a whole lot of flavor, though it leaves a hoppy sour note on the palate.
