1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tumbler on 05.09.14.
A: Orange/red. No head or lacing. Chunks were floating in it.
S: Biscuit, citrus.
T: Burnt flavor, citrus, metal.
O: I thought that this was a bad bottle because of the sediment, but it is bottle fermented according to the label. This is the second go around with this beer. The first one that I had was the same with chunks and all so maybe they have QC problems. Like the first time, this was also a drain pour.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle, not the ultra patriotic can. Medium head fades to a moderate lacing. Orange colored beer. Clear and filtered throughout. Its got too much caramel and too much American bitter hops, not my fav. Lots of dusty British malt as well. These are the exact Pale Ales I don’t like.

1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Barely avoided being voted as a drainpour by five tasters at the brewpub in Seattle. Seemed to be artificially flavored. A keeper. Meaning, please keep it, do not serve it any more.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle, purchased from Brennan’s in Madison during GTMW. Mostly hazy golden orange color. Fine particles suspended in the body hazing it up. Thin off-white head, leaving good thicker lace. Medium body. Kind of slick texture. Kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Kind of a bready malt flavor, lightly grainy. Lighter on the hop. Some light pine, herbal hop. Little bit of citrus. Moderate sweet taste, light bit of bitterness. OK, kind of sweeter malt-forward pale ale (who knows how old it is). Luckily it’s not a big caramely malt sweetness though, it’s solidly pale.
