Dark orange body with a generous, lacing, lingering, off-white head. Aroma of apples and tannic malt husks. Tasks exactly like a pale ale I brewed. Their must be some crystal hops in there which lends a piney, tinny, tannic bitterness which is balanced well with a sweet candy bread maltiness and a appley esters from the yeast. Over all pretty ordinary pale.

Barely avoided being voted as a drainpour by five tasters at the brewpub in Seattle. Seemed to be artificially flavored. A keeper. Meaning, please keep it, do not serve it any more.

12oz bottle, purchased from Brennan’s in Madison during GTMW. Mostly hazy golden orange color. Fine particles suspended in the body hazing it up. Thin off-white head, leaving good thicker lace. Medium body. Kind of slick texture. Kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Kind of a bready malt flavor, lightly grainy. Lighter on the hop. Some light pine, herbal hop. Little bit of citrus. Moderate sweet taste, light bit of bitterness. OK, kind of sweeter malt-forward pale ale (who knows how old it is). Luckily it’s not a big caramely malt sweetness though, it’s solidly pale.

Draught at Hales Ales Brewery and Pub, as Original Pale American Ale
Cloudy golden color. Very dry Ale, with light aroma, light caramel flavor, hints of lemon peel; fairly bitter but a bit metallic in the end.
Not exciting.

12oz can. Clear amber color with ivory head. Polycarbonate, astringent tea leaf aromas. Medium bodied with average co2. Pale malt, polycarbonate, mild floral, bready yeasty flavors____less than good

Bottle to glass. A gorgeous cloudy amber color. A sharp, fruity aroma. Medium carbonation. Taste is briefly fruity/sweet, but quickly followed by a tray bitterness that lingers on the tongue a bit. Good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On the 10th day of Christmas 2013...Pours a copper orange with a tan head. Aroma is citrus, floral, earthy and light notes of caramel. Taste is mild bitters with underlying sweetness making itself known. Medium bodied, slick and smooth. A very enjoyable pale ale that’s more English then American.
