Aroma seems floral with underlying citrus. Very nice. Fine amber color, very little head. Starts with malt and berry, not overly strong berry; the hop aroma dominates the flavor, and the hop bitterness carries through to the finish. After the hop wears down, the malt can be detected. This must be balanced. Very good stuff. Palate gets fatigued after about half a bottle, so it starts great, but it wears you out. Even so, it remains a good drink.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is smooth citrusy and light peachy. Bitter, smooth fruity and crisp hoppy peachy. Bitter and lasting lingering fruity finish.

12 oz. Well, a 12-oz bottle right now, but probably a couple dozen other times in the last 20 years, too. Why I’ve not rated this heretofore is a bit of a mystery to me. But here we go. Pours a hazy burnished dark gold with a thin little splotchy film of suds on top. Intermittent drippy lace. Mild grassy corn nutty nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Caramel, nuts, and grass on the mid palate. Very mild and easy drinking APA...probably not hoppy enough to really be an APA, but that’s alright. Good little beer.

Hazy gold, frothy beige head. Aroma of grass, lemon, brett, this beer is funky Taste also has some brett funk that has some puckering sourness. Not to say that it’s un-enjoyable. I just don’t think it’s right for this beer. Dry finish. Overall not a great beer, or true to style, but still somewhat good.

Brewsmith (148) - Torrance, California, USA - AUG 9, 2010
On tap at the brewery 8-4-10. Pours a hazy deep gold color with a big hop nose, typical pacific NW hops - citrusy, grapefruit. Clean malt profile with a big bitter backbone and big hop aroma. Lighter body makes the hops really stick out, maybe a little too much. Balanced definitely toward the bitter side. Dry finish without much sweetness.

2010-07-03. Lightly hazy orange body, small creamy off-white head and lace. 3+ Flavour is modestly bitter throughout, light citrus hops (tropical, hints at floral, lemon), mild lingering tangerine. Mild malt is a bit odd/grainy and does not always play nicely with the hops. Aroma of muted citrus seeds, off-putting overtones that are not quite bile/sweat, more likely an odd variation on resiny/leafy hop character. Average to light palate. Odd. On tap at Hales, Seattle

[3096-20100703] Tap. Mild sweaty dog aroma with floral hints. Hazy, medium orange body with a long-lasting creamy white head. General grainy floral yeast flavour does not have a lot to it other than some bitter citrus notes. Medium body. Sessionable but not my favourite.

Yeah, i’d never heard of this brewery before until someone gave me a free 12ozer. Smells like a normal pale ale. Fruity, some caramel malt, just enough hops. Flavor is unsurprising. Malty, hoppy, fruity. Not offensive but not great. Actually, scores out to be about average.

Cloudy amber pour. A huge head...a gusher actually. Aroma smells of old stale cardboard. And maybe some rocky dirt. Flavor isnt much better. More cardboard and nastiness. DRAINPOUR.

This beer tasted like poop. Cloudy orange with a decent sized froth head. Taste is terribly metallicy. To the point of being offensive. Aroma has some soft floral and grapefruit like notes. But can’t get over the taste. Stale and watery
