A very hazy deep amber body with an off white head. Grapefruit is strong in the initial nose. There is also some nice light straw smells behind the citrus. A very bitter initial orange peel taste is mixed with some grass. There is also a hint of light tobacco. I would like a little more malt to balance out the hops, this like trying to drink straight orange bitters. Bleh.

12 oz can. Poured a clear yellow color, small white head. Aroma is a light hop and malt. Flavor is light hop, sweetness. This was a nice sweet, refreshing beer.

Aroma – Light malt aroma. No hops in the nose.
Appearance – Golden Yellow in color, Nice thin head and clear.
Flavor – Nice pale ale flavor. This was light and tasty. Malt flavored very little hops flavor.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, good crisp texture with a dry finish.
Overall – Nice easy Lawnmower beer. If it is hot outside this is the beer for the day. It will keep you refreshed and with out the oh so full feeling.

This draft brew from the brew pub poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent softly carbonated golden brown colored body and a fair lacing. The nice aroma was hoppy and malty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops and mild caramel. Delicious and one with a fair amount of caramel malts that I would certainly buy again.

Amber color with a smaller cream colored head. Light grapefruit and pine aromas mixed with light caramel. Flavors quite clean and blend well with the aromas. It would be nice if the hotel I’m at had the taps right. Ordered the Blonde first and was quite sure it was the Pale. Then asked for the Pale and then got the blonde. Would have gone into the bar and told then, but Washington State Law would not allow me in with the kids.

12oz shorty bottle. Orange-tan color, medium sized patchy head. Fresh, astringent, piny, seawater aroma. The taste is moderately hoppy, with some solid earthy, soapy greenness. The malt side of the equation leaves a little bit to desired, it’s quite thin and watery really. The hops certainly dominate. A West Coast session ale, not bad by any means but not great either.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2009 Not a lot of aroma. Orange in color. Looks okay. This has a nice hop flavor throughout. A little fruity. A quite bitter finish. I could drink a lot of this beer. Had a second time and wrote almost the same stuff.

(Draught) Creamy, almond head with a mildly cloudy orange body. Nose of cascade hops, mild caramel malt. Very creamy, some watery texture with a bitter cascade finish. Above average.

355ml bottle pours a slightly hazy golden color with a finger of white head that leaves some thin spotty lacing. Aroma is light fruits, light malts and mild hops. Taste is light fruits with some underlying malt sweetness and a mild citrus and grass hop bitterness. A decent and drinkable pale ale, but there are certainly better ones out there.

Draft at Hales Ales, Seattle, WA. Ivory head that was mostly lasting with a fair amount of lacing, transparent, very little carbonation observed, and an orange hue. Nose was malty, hoppy and fruity and carried over to the flavor. Smooth mouthfeel and light-medium body. Quaffable and very easy to drink. Nicely done.
