Creamy chocolate and light fruit flavors. Kinda plain Jane, but solid nonetheless. NachlamSie (1637), Tennessee, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 26, 2009 Bomber. This is an inky beer with no head. Aroma is vinous leaning with hints of figs, plums, raisins, and molasses. It does not seem too roasty. The palate is dense with a sharp flavor, actually almost metallic. The finish has roasted coffee. This is kind of sour with hints at grapes. Moderate flavors of molasses and dark chocolate identify this as a stout. This is not what I want from an imperial stout, but it was decent. This is juicy and vinous for the style. TURDFERGUSON (1601), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA
