22oz. Bomber Poured into my St. Bernardas glass a deep black color, some carbonation, little fizzy tan head, with some sticky lacing left behind. The nose is malty, with some nice chocolate notes, and some vanilla. The taste is sweet, malty, dark notes, and some vanilla. Medium body, the finish is slightly dry/bitter. Drinkable, I really like this brew, thanks Toby.

[Bottle] shared by skyview. Pours a syrupy black with a small tan head. Aroma is quality coffee, bittersweet chocolate, alcohol, and chocolate covered cherries. Flavor is just too sweet and coating malts. Longish finish of burnt coffee grounds.

Black pour with thin brown head. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee. More roasted malt and dark chocolate with a bitter finish and some pronounced hops. Cardonation is not great, mouthfeel a little thin.

Bomber from Bottle Trek. Opaque brown/black color with a flat dark tan head. Smooth aromas of dark roasted malt and chocolate. Near full bodied with minimal carbonation. Flavor is dark roasted, almost toasted, malt. There is some bitter, but whether burnt malt or hop? Finish is not really dry, but it’s not sweet either. I can imagine a bit of oak. Not at all harsh. Quite quaffable.

andropov imperial stout - perfect appearance. pitch black, super dark brown head, very thick and heady, tiny bubbles, eventually got smaller, great lacing. god, ’teaching mrs. tingle’ is a horrible movie. i smell some challk, a bit of roasted malt, a pretty fair amount of chocolate. it isn’t super attractive, but it’s appetizing enough. the texture was the first thing i noticed, and it was pretty milky and smooth. there is no hint of alcohol, and this goes down pretty easily. the flavor profile isn’t great. it’s rather simple, doesn’t have much in the way of chocolate, vanilla, caramel or any of the things i look for in an imperial stout. man this is a dumb movie. i can’t believe helen miren is in it. katie holmes, sure, she’s weak-minded. but what a body. hey there’s that tacky chalk at the end of the flavor profile here. really it’s way closer to a stout than it is an imperial stout, if that means anything. not bad.

[Bottle, thanks for sharing, Skyview!] Pours black with a dark tan head. Aroma is semi-sweet, some anise, roasted malt--not bad. Taste is a little bitter, a hint of sourness, a good deal of coffee, roasted malt, a little chocolate. Average mouthfeel with a long roasted malt finish. Not a bad imperial stout, certainly drinkable, but nothing particularly memorable.

Thanks to Skyview. Rich dark brown pour with a thin mocha colored head. Bourbon sweet nose along with a hint of root. Sweet flavors mixed nicely with bitter cocoa.

Another one from Skyview. Black color with a thin head. Lots of coffee and chocolate. A little mint. Dry malt flavor. There is some caramel sweetness, but overwhelming, bone dry malt just covers it. Lightly burnt malt as well. Wood or maybe even ash.
