Clear medium to dark red brown amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, dark berry, wood - tobacco, funky licorice - lakrids konfekt notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood - tobacco, tea, dark malt, vomit notes, funky licorice - lakrids konfekt notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20110111]

From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden amber to orange with a small white head. Aroma is roasted malty and light fruity. Bitter, citric and smooth toasted caramelish malty. Light fruity hoppy note towards the end.

(Bottle, courtesy of Reid) Pours a light cloudy rust colored body with a moderate creamy off-white head. Aroma of malt, toffee, nuts, and a hint of florals. Flavor of caramel malt and mild hops. Enjoyable amber with dry, chewy palate.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy caramel aroma. Malty hoppy bitter flavor with some caramel hints. Has a dry malty hoppy finish wit ha hoppy bitter aftertaste.

(22oz bottle) Big beige head atop a cloudy amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, floral, some caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, floral, lemon, some caramel, light herbal. Light-medium, clean body. The lemon does not work for me.

Fruity aroma. Amber golden coloured hoppy and fruity with a crisp and bitter finish.

on tap-pours a thin off white head that laces and amber color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel, faint citrus hops. Taste is medium malt-sweet caramel, faint citrus hops. Mild/minimum carbonation.

Bomber from Liquid Solutions. Medium roasted caramel aroma backed by citrus hop - both aromas are substantial. Near mahogany color with a beige head that sort of hung in. Near medium body with mild, creamy carbonation. Fair balance between sweet malt and hop. Lots of hop for an amber. Finishes dryish, and the bitter builds along. Good drink.

Bottle... Mostly clear burnt orange ale with a small, creamy, white head. Tropical fruit aroma... guava, honeydew and caramel. Medium to full-bodied with moderate carbonation. Malty-caramel flavor. Heavily sweet; moderate bitterness. Caramel malts totally take over in the end. I’m a malt head, so I dig this one, but it does border on being cloyingly sweet.
