Sample at the brewpub. Hazy reddish-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily. Short strings of lacing. Caramel malt and hops in the nose. Medium body with flavors of dank malt, caramel and citrusy hops. The finish is mildly bitter with a malt aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Malty aroma, not too much, though. Fairly decent slightly roasted malt flavour. Watered down feel.

355ml bottle pours an orange amber color with a finger of white head that leaves a few spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel with some hints of chocolate and roasted barley and citrus. Taste is bold caramel malt sweetness with some roasted grain and citrusy hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with mild carbonation. Overall, very malt forward brew with some light hops and was respectable but not a great example of the style.
