Nitro @ Hales... Poured dark reddish with a thick, floating, white head with constant retention. Super mild, very drinkable. Thin, soft mouthfeel. Some light doughy malt tones and just enough hops to balance the sweetness. Don’t expect much from this one, but when you need a session pint, it does the job.

Just a regular ESB, amber golden, everlasting head, good carbonation, malt and hops well balanced. Good but nothing special.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of bready malt, ripe fruit and a touch of grassy hops. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Average overall.

2010-07-03. Crisp dark amber with a nice creamy off-white head. 3+ Flavour has very mild bitterness and very light citrus, muted malt is a touch grainy. Muted aroma, odd floral/hop character, oddly presented citrus. Surprisingly light palate. Meh. On tap at Hales, Seattle
