4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from QFC - Seattle (Ballard)
Hazy amber color, pouring viscously, and with little head. The hop aroma is lovely, rich, fruity, with toffee. Good toffee flavor, the mouthfeel is a bit oily and flat; the hop provides strong piney resins; the malts are a bit chewy; strong and long final, with character of toffee resins and mild liquorice.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
355ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves a thin spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and grass with some caramel and a hint of yeast. Taste is a bold citrus and grass hop bitterness with a decent balance of caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with some nice carbonation. Overall, a quality brew which is definitely worthy of another tasting in the near future.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
In short: A yeasty, coniferous and caramelized IPA. Just decent.
How: Bottle 22oz, consumed fresh approximately 1 month after purchase, bottle forwarded to me by mcberko, thanks a lot Matt
The look: Opaque murky dirty orange body topped by a medium white head leaving lots of lacings on the glass
In long: The medium intensity nose is spruce, some grapefruits. Taste is fluffy crème caramel, very yeasty, coniferous hops. Bitterness level is medium. The beer is very yeasty (somehow I usually don’t like in an IPA) but somehow it doesn’t feel too muddy. There is an alcohol bit in the finish, more than expected for a relatively low abv. All in a all, an decent IPA but in this area (west-coast) it is easier to find a better IPA than a worst one. Beware of the Supergoose, the next man-made evolution of the regular goose, and in case you didn’t know, all birds are actually genetically engineered rats created by a consortium of the hat and car wash industry.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours slightly hazy amber with nice white head. Intense hops, a little pine, mostly just bitter. Just enough malt sweetness to take the edge off. Stronger than it tastes, wonder why this isn’t billed as an imperial?
