On tap at the brewery. Sounds like this is their big IPA. There were certainly plenty of bitter hops, but I didn’t get the full rounded hop character that is the (admittedly high) standard for west coast breweries. Still, very drinkable.

Pours a beautiful hazy amber orange color, with a thin frothy white head. Strong citrus scent from the hops with subtle floral notes as well. Good amount of bitterness and crisp taste complimented by the soft carbonation and full body. Long hoppy finish and a very nice IPA.

Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - DEC 6, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a lightly hazed, orange-gold colored body with a finger-width, creamy and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is citrusy grapefruits with a bit of a juiciness and a lightly sweetened caramel. Some resins and a few tropical fruits as well. Flavor is similar. Juicier citrus pine resins with mostly grapefruits and a few tropical fruits. A lightly sweetened caramel malt backing before this finishes dry, moderately bitter, resiny, and fruity before leaving a lengthy aftertaste. Medium, somewhat oily body and a soft, moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid IPA. Well hopped with lots of juicy, resiny grapefruits and a few tropical fruits that are balanced with a light caramel. Good beer.

Extra bottle from trade with michaelinwa. Pours a medium orange color with a small foamy head that lingers a bit. A nice citrus and tropical fruit aroma. Very good juicy taste, lots of citrus and tropical fruit again. Moderate bitterness throughout. Nice malt backbone to hold it together. Medium body and a resiny, oily mouthfeel. A very good IPA and a nice trade surprise. Thanks Mike!

trujahwarrior (478) - Monroe, Washington, USA - OCT 18, 2012
On tap, pours a hazy golden color with a thick white head and good lacing. Smell of citrus, pine and caramel. Tastes of citrus, caramel and mango. Mouthfeel was medium with a dry finish. This is a pretty good tasting northwest ipa, the citrus stood out the most. And was pretty hoppy. Would definitely drink it again.

Bomber served in a pint. Pours dark orange with a short head. Orange, lwmon, pine, and cereal malt nose. Medium bitter, light sweet flavor. Medium body, average carbonation, light-sticky texture, and a very bitter, dry finish. Good IPA.

DuffMan (6162) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 18, 2012
On tap @ TapHouse Seattle - hazy deep gold, Lacey white crown. Aroma is pine forest pungent. Flavours center around resinous pine and dense toffee, with secondary flavours of mint and grass. Balance, bitter, really tasty.

fiulijn (13533) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 8, 2012
Bottle from QFC - Seattle (Ballard)
Hazy amber color, pouring viscously, and with little head. The hop aroma is lovely, rich, fruity, with toffee. Good toffee flavor, the mouthfeel is a bit oily and flat; the hop provides strong piney resins; the malts are a bit chewy; strong and long final, with character of toffee resins and mild liquorice.
Solid.
