3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Fritz European Fry House in Bremerton, Washington, 16 ounces, served in shaker glass, $3.50 per pint.
I assume that Supergoose refers to this being a hopped-up version of Haleís Mongoose IPA, which, as far as I can tell, appears to be true.
Color: Hazy orange core with a hazy yellow-orange aura, topped with a thin white head. Small dots and lines of lacing are left behind.
Nose: I smell, in this order: a can of pineapple chunks, apricot, and a whiff of citrus.
Palate: The flavors include bitter orange that borders on grapefruit, pineapple, apricot, and a hint of hay. The heavy bitterness lingers in the finish. The fruit sweetness is almost too much, but it actually complemented the dipping sauces for my fries rather well. The spiciness of the Spicy Curry Ketchup and Sweet Chili sauces toned down the sweetness of this ale and really let the hoppy bitterness shine through.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Update: this is not a limited release, itís brewed year around as far I can tell.
Pours a rather dark amber with a solid sheet of light yellow foam. Ruddy. Smells like grass, grapefruit, resin, mint and sweet crystal malts. Flavor is very balanced, more so than I would prefer in a DIPA. Malts up front with dry bitterness and some grapefruit rind. A bit of oxidation on the malts. Medium on full bodied with moderately hi carb to boot. This is a below average beer. Iíve got a couple friends to I recall really digging this beer, but I canít really subscribe. Not likely to reinvest here.

Bomber. Pours a dark copper color with a medium white head. A big sweet malty nose with fruity hops. The flavor is great: caramel, light bitterness, oranges, lemons, finishes with more bitter lemon and caramel. Very nice fullfiling IPA.

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy orange in appearance with a pale white head. Orange and grapefruit breaks through the hops, which is only moderate for an IPA. Hence, it is surprisingly drinkable. Not much of an aroma.

It smells like "Spaghetti-Oís". But it actually tastes WAY better than it smells. Itís not bad, considering I bought it solely based on the adorability of the label.
