By virtue of the 4 I gave the oakshire watershed IPA for appearance, i am forced to give this beer the same rating as it looks exactly the same. please refer to my rating of the former to see what i thought of the appearance. aroma: caramel, toast, resin, earthy. taste: heavy sweet, medium bitter, light sour, light salty, no umami. i think the ratebeer taste suggestions could be a little more varied. i’m too far removed from rating to be able to identify flavors, not that i ever really was able to in the first place. body is the same as the last beer.

Gold with red to get. Aroma- tropical and citrus fruit. Taste- amply hopped with notes of grapefruit, tropical fruit and pine. Solid caramel malt backbone. Very nice NW IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Out the can in a Seattle park. Fairview park to be exact. Nice flavor. Delicious. Beautiful day so this ratings inflated. Calm. Collected.

Bottle thanks to Lizzie and Daren! Pours a clear gold with a n orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a sweet resinous pine with a good amount of sweet grains and a hint of butterscotch. Flavor has sweet grains, sweet citrus with a hint of butterscotch underlying.

Citrus with that standard rusty note and a bit of floral hop. Slightly sweet from the crystal. A good brew. Immensly drinkable.

Tap at brewery with commonmac and rosskyle and wildcard. Copper with medium white head. Hoppy aroma. Sweet and grapefruit. Very clean. Also pretty typical of this style. Decent.

Nice aroma. Good head retention. Little to be desired on the over all taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Canned from LifeSource. Hazy amber with some orange highlights. Nose is somewhat pungent with some citric hop qualities. Quite sweet and fruity. Some grapefruit hoppiness. Haven’t had an IPA this sweet in awhile. Good and tasty. The sweetness stops just short of cloying. Pretty tasty.

CapFlu (4818) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 27, 2015
Lasting thin white foamy head atop a deep brown orange coloured body. Nose of candied malt and toasted malt. Very sweet, cloying. It’s oddly on the cusp of a DIPA yet the malt is really overpowering and the hops are highly potent too. Not really getting into this beer. Tastes like a McMenamin brewpub beer. Purchased at The Penny Farthing in Oak Bay.

Bomber. Unclear orange brown, mostly lasting firm off-white foam. Floral foresty hop aroma. Taste is bitter floral hop forward, some citrus and evergreen, lean backseat c-malts. Average carbonation, medium bodied, well hopped. Okay. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)
