3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Sampled at an ESBLS tasting thanks to Hayduke. It poured an amber gold color with a white head. The aroma was moderately bready with a trace of some cherries. The taste was of some spicy caramel notes with faint cherry traces. Very nice.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled at ESBLS. From Doran via Hayduke. A kind of peach colored beer that is hazy. An off white ring. Some funky yeast in the aroma with cherry. Cherries are tasted prominently and almost make up the entirety of the flavor. Earth. Some tartness and mild bitterness. A nice dessert beer.

22 oz. bottle shared by Keir- thanks again! Pours a semi-cloudy gold with a small white head. The aroma has a ton of cherry, with sweet malts, spices, and herbs. Flavor of sweet and dried cherries, sweet malts, and syrup. Pretty straightforward, with a cherry juice character. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a juicy, malty mouthfeel. Interesting beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. Pours hazy orange with a medium collapsing beige head. Aroma is strong in cherries, almonds. Taste is sour cherries; not mouth-puckering like a sour ale but definitely nice and tangy. Highly carbonated with a medium body. Not bad at all.

From a 22 oz bottle purchased at Paul’s Grocery in McCall, ID. Pours a rich gold with a big and attractive white head Good lacing. Nose of sour cherry. Medium body. Carbonated mouthfeel. Flavor is of ripe fruit with cherty dominating. The finish is somewhat tart. Very drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
22. Pours a hazy burnished medium amber with a wooly light tan head. Thin rings of drippy lace. Odd nose of soft, rather synthetic cherry quality combined with a little bit of shortbread cookie. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Shortbread and faint cherry mid palate, kind of like a little christmas cookie with a cherry frosting that’s not too sweet.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bought a 22 Fl Oz bottle of this from The Beer Shoppe in Yakima, WA for $11.25. Poured from the Red/Tan labeled bottle w/ a bunch of cherries and a girl putting up her hair into a Port Wine Glass. Has no freshness date on the bottle but brewed in 2012 says the beer shop manager.
Aroma- Very sweet, malty with a distant cherry nose. No sour attributes but since cherry is noticeable, a bit above average.
Appearance- Pours a 1 finger head that has average head retention. Has a medium orange with ruby red highlights and decent clarity. Leaves good lacing behind.
Flavor- Malt, wheat, and light acidity comes around. Cherries are once again distant... Should definitely have more yeast and other characters! Quite weak all around.
Mouthfeel- Light-Medium Bodied, Medium Carbonation, Sweet all the way thru, and has the slightly cherry flavor that is left on the palate.
Overall Impression- Fell quite a bit short for me... The cherry flavor wasn’t even good enough to make this brew an exceptional one. The side of the label says "Belgian Style beer with Sour Cherries" and I found neither. I really need to keep looking up every beer I am about to buy in the shops. Usually do but didn’t have time with this one. Won’t be coming back to this!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Orangish, slight haze, moderate white head, fairly nice lacing. Bright bready nose, very faint unripened cherry. Soft floral and herbal notes as well. Malty and mealy up front, bready, sweet, slightly sticky, with very very faint pie cherry like flavors. Body and mouthfeel are moderate. Very slight tartness on the finish, a bit of dry fruitiness. Not too reminiscent of a Belgian Kriek in my book. American Strong Pale Ale with a touch of cherry. Not bad, but I was expecting a bit more.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber served in a tulip. Pours clear dark orange with a short head. Decent retention and lacing. Interesting aroma. Lt sweet, tart cherry, gingerbread, and yeasty funk. Medium sweet flavor full of yeast and malt. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture, and a short mid-sweet finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber. Poured clear light-medium copper with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up sweet and tart cherry skins with accents of clean oak, white pepper, and banana.. nice balance, but it lacked a little substance. The flavor found tart cherry and oak upfront, with nondescript pale malts supporting the core.. cherry dust throughout that was dry and sour on the finish.. clean banana and clovey notes from the yeast.. again it was aiight, but it needed a little something. Lighter-bodied, dry, and moderately tart on the palate.. lower carbonation worked.. OK overall.
