Courtesy of Acertain. The aroma is detergent-esque with sharp chocolate notes, lactose sugar and mild roast. The body is black and holds a thin tan head. Fore is roasty, with dark fruit and some very noticeable soapy/detergent notes. Nice mouthfeel, but on the whole not really feeling this one due to the off flavors.

Bomber. Black with an inch of thick cappuccino foam head. The aroma is mostly chocolate mocha and roasted malt with a bit of citrusy hops. The taste starts strong on the smoky roasted malt and dark roast coffee flavors followed by some bittersweet chocolate, caramel and herbal hops. The body is adequately carbonated with a dry, roasty finish and mildly bitter aftertaste. All in all, a smooth and balanced Porter with a nice bite to it.

22 oz. bottle from QFC. My ex-girlfriend actually modeled for this bottle! I hate that fucking troll, but I wish him the best. This has a nice opaque black body. It has a soft and wispy head. Wait...the head is gone. The head sits around the circumference of this beer. This porter looks pretty, pretty, pretty good. This has a heavy roast aroma accompanied by a nice soft smokiness. Touches of chocolate hit my nose. Somewhat of a milky flavor, with a roast, chocolate, and subtle smoke flavor that really makes this a stellar, and under-appreciated porter. It’s quite easy to drink, and has a long-lasting roast flavor that is quite delicious. The only thing that is keeping me from giving this a really high score is that milky flavor. I’ve never been a fan of that because it almost seems borderline infected with an off flavor like that. Overall, pretty good stuff from a brewery that, typically, underwhelms.

2010-07-03. Very dark brown black body, small creamy tan head fades. 3+ Roasty aroma, dry coffee like notes, mild ashen touches. 6+ Flavour is similar, dry roast, mild sweet malt core. Lingering light roast. Smooth average to light palate is light for the beer. Okay. On tap at Hales, Seattle

[3093-20100703] Tap. Fruity apple cherry wood alcohol aroma has mild cigarette notes. Brown black body with a long-lasting creamy light tan head. Lots of mid-notes in the flavour with smoky wood fruit and noticeable grainy alcohol. Medium-full body. Like kissing a smoker... or a giant cement troll.

Pours a nice dark brown with a mild caramel head. The taste is slightly bitter with a rotten eggs taste mixed with a rusted nails . I am extremely disappointed with this one. I ordered it from bottle trek and paid shipping and handling on this one what a waste. Now I drank this after a long trail coffee stout but there is no comparison.

Black bodied with decent head. This one treads the sweet and imperial stout boundaries, combining the best of both. Rich, deep chocolate aroma with some black patent complexity and hints of chocolate alcohol. The flavor is similar. Smooth, deep, full-bodied roasted malting. Rich dark chocolate and some black patent twinge and a touch or raisin.
