[A] Hops. Very pleasant aroma. My girlfriend says guava upfront, but I’m just not getting it. Caramel and pale malts, wheat detectable. [A] Clear amber/golden pour. Not very lively in glass. [F] More great hop flavor. Again with the maltiness. Fruitiness shows toward midway/end. [P] Hop bitter is nice. Very light to mild bodied and easily drinkable. [O] I was expecting the guava to make this lean more toward a fruit beer, but it either blends well with the hops, or is quite an understatement in this brew. 1000 lbs wouldn’t make you think so. Admittedly, never tasted a guava. Not at all disappointed in the end. Glad Cutler & Short’s had a hand in this.

Growler, courtesy the Chicago crew, thanks! Pours orange-gold, big white head. Aroma is dank, floral, tropical. Taste is bitter, very dank, tropical hops, some fruity and malty sweetness. Palate is creamy, bitter finish.

On tap at 2015 GTMW, pours a golden orange with a thin white head, the aroma has a lot of citrus and guava that comes through with a balanced amount of sweetness too, the flavor has a lot of the guava at first and the fruit is very nice in the finish, nice mouthfeel too, pretty good stuff.

Grand slam of an iPa for half acre. Guava explosion on top of the nice hoppy backbone. This is now the best beer of the summer hands down. Smells like guava and quenched your thirst like no other. Ha at half acre

Draft. Huge grave nose from a mile away. Taste is fleshy fruit with aight bitterness and a light tropical tartness. Pretty damn solid but the fruit lends a subtle sweetness that makes this less than totally crushable brah. Tame tho.

Smells very sweet, lots of guava with some hops. Kind of nice. Not a ton of foam, very light coloration. Taste is sugary with lots of guava. An ipa paletas?

On draft, day of release. Very guava forward. Oddly starts with how guava finishes. But then has a pine and citrus hop finish. Mild bitterness.

Greatest beer ever! Light pinky hues and hopped overboard. Sweetness from real guava.

Draft pour. Orange, amber. Slight cloudiness. Thin white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit. Taste is an original mix of tropical fruit and hops. To my palate this brings on an interesting overtone of pepper. A very unique beer. And fruitiness is subtle... thank God.
