Vanilla baume with Mexican vanilla beans cask pour at DOLA... Pours a mostly opaque
solid mostly black pour andtopped with a more than presentable light
brown head... Solid roast and sweet vanilla backing with a bitter
hoppy roast expression in the finish. Just shy of medium bodied with non-existent

2012 Day of the Living Ales. Sweet, new treatment! Pours a deep brown-black with a tan head. The nose is a punch of vanilla, cocoa powder and deliciousness. Not particularly sweet. Some woody notes. On tasting, the chocolate notes are really enhanced by the vanilla, bright cocoa comes through. The base beer really stands strong, revealing a great roasty stout overall. Really clean and fresh with a great vanilla character. Phenomenal beer!
