Bomber, a gift from last Christmas that I’m finally opening about 5 months later. Dark brown with deep bordeaux red edges and a thin, yellowed white head. Mild roasted malt aroma is rather straightforward with notes of coffee and bittersweet cocoa. Bittersweet flavor - grainy wheat, light graham cracker, black coffee, big earthy hops. Mildly acidic finish with notes of charred wood. Nicely carbonated with a thin, mildly oily mouthfeel. A solid, straightforward robust porter.
