3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 mtjoseph (243) - Murderapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 20, 2012Bomber. Pours a very clean golden color with not much of a head. Nose is yeast, apple cider, and some slight mulling spice. Light bodied and clean, with flavors of bready yeast, grass, coriander(?) and some crisp apples. Effervescent, crisp, and decent. Nothing special and not the best out of Half Acre.

22oz bottle, split with my bride. Pours a crystal clear, golden amber color with a thin whit head and just a touch of lacing. Aroma is yeasty, clove, bubblegum. Medium on the palate with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is sweet, bready, yeasty, cereal, lots of bubblegum, some spiciness, rye perhaps, with a spicy, bready finish. Interesting.

Bottle... Mostly clear yellow ale with a tiny, white head that’s gone in the blink of an eye. The bouquet is mainly spicy, but also provides estery, phenolic traces of pluot and smoke. Medium-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and vibrant carbonation. The flavor tips its cap toward the bitter side of balance and - much like the aroma - boasts a generous measure of fruity, spicy notes from the farmhouse yeast. Finishes crisp and modestly bitter. Interesting. Bottle courtesy of KickInChalice!

Bottle. Pours gold with white head. Nose/taste of lemon, yeast, bready rye, banana and fruity esters. Medium body. Finishes a bit dry and bready with some lemon/fruity esters.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20 Treebs (733) - , Illinois, USA - OCT 16, 2012
22 oz. bottle served in a FFF pint glass.
A: Pours a clear golden yellow with a half finger pure white head forming on the pour. The head recedes quickly to a very thin ring.
S: Yeast, light fruity esters, some wheat and pale malts all fill the nose at once.
T: Some peppery yeast and some fruitiness are up front. The pale malts and light grassy hops shine mid-palate. There is some light creamy wheat is on the finish.
M: Light and creamy in the mouth. The carbonation is medium and the finish is wheaty and fruity. The drinkability is high.
O: A very solid beer. Nice combination of yeast, fruity esters, wheat and malt. The creamy texture is nice and I could drink multiples of this on a hot summer day.

The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of Belgian yeast as well as some biscuit malt. The flavor is more complex. I get some nice yeast and orange citrus notes, as well as some coriander. There is also some sweetness from the biscuit malt. The alcohol is also noticeable. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

22oz bottle.
Dull golden brew with some white head. Nose is quite funky with some spices and citrus. Almost like a hefe with a wheat bite and banana esters.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 mattyb83 (733) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 20, 2012
Bottle shared by Mark through pawola22. Clear and golden just like it should be. Slight banana runt character in the aroma and some grain of some sort. Can’t figure that one out. Yeasty, bananas, some spice in the flavor. The finish is a bit watery and thin.
