3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
16 oz can, thanks Ryan. Lightly hazy amber-yellow; frothy white head; huge lacing. Aroma grapefruit, pineapple, musty florals, bread, pepper. Flavor is similar to aroma, and in addition there might be a hint of pine resin in here as well; finish is pretty dry. Mouthfeel is medium and closer to frothy than to fizzy. Glad that this is a well-regarded beer without being over-the-top bitter; itís actually quite a lot better balanced and a lot less bitter than Iíd expected. This is certainly no 99th percentile beer overall, but a top example in the style for sure.

Brilliantly clear golden under a sticky, rocky white cap, giving a delightful citrusy pithy and leafy hop nose. Crisp and delicate flavor with a nice semi strong hop flavor thatís dry hoppy leafy, some orange zest, and a calm floral hop tone. Crisp pale malt body and finish with a touch of floral hops coming back.

Tap @ Half Acre Taproom. Orange amber, reasonable head. Grain malt aroma. Toffee hop flavour. Sharp spicy bitter sweet aftertaste. Unusual and distinctive.

16 oz. can. Shared with John. Pours a medium, well retained, off white head, ovre a slightly hazy dark yellow (SRM 4) body......nose is pine, resin, grapefruit peel, moderate dank tones, minimal malts, balance to the hops.......taste is mild toasted malts, with light cracker, bread, then moderate pine, resin, grass, light tropical tones from the hops, finishing with mild hop bitterness, balance to the hops......mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, high carbonation with light acid. This is a hop dominated beer, with quite hidden malts. Bitterness is a bit low. BJCP 7/3/13/4/6

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
4 pack of pint cans from Mile High. Good looking beer with a fairly clear light amber body and a white head. Lacing is pretty too. Aroma is dank and genuine with more pine, herb, and spice than anything else. The palate is pretty dry and well carbonated. Hop flavor is pretty big with herb and evergreen with the most modest caramel suggestion to balance. Bitterness isnít huge, just appropriate for the style. Very good pale ale in the sense that itís very clean, fairly balanced, not necessarily mistakable for an IPA, and a joy to drink.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Piney grassy medicinal hop aroma and flavor. Balanced well by the malt. Lighter than gone away as far as malt but still full flavored. Finishes with a piney bitterness. All flavors go well together. I think I like a bit more malt balance, but still a very nice beer, and easy drinking. Also has some mango tropical hops in the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Thanks Zack for the can! Poured into a shotglass showing moderately filtered honey yellow with spare white foam.
The nose shows very light and subtle lemon and pineapple.
The palate is medium bodied and fully carbonated. Flavors of light lemon and grapefruit with a moderate bitterness on the finish. Not much else.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Can, poured into a tulip glass. A hazy amber color with a good amount of foamy head. The smell is all Hops as the citrus, floral, and pine notes hit you right away. The flavor has the same combination but in different strengths. The pine hits first in the flavor vs the citrus & floral notes in the nose. The feel is a little creamy which adds to the overall experience. This is an excellent Pale Ale. Iím glad I can get it so regularly.
