COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A west coast Pale Ale chock-full of dank, aromatic hops. This one’s a screamer, horde it.

16 oz can, thanks Ryan. Lightly hazy amber-yellow; frothy white head; huge lacing. Aroma grapefruit, pineapple, musty florals, bread, pepper. Flavor is similar to aroma, and in addition there might be a hint of pine resin in here as well; finish is pretty dry. Mouthfeel is medium and closer to frothy than to fizzy. Glad that this is a well-regarded beer without being over-the-top bitter; it’s actually quite a lot better balanced and a lot less bitter than I’d expected. This is certainly no 99th percentile beer overall, but a top example in the style for sure.

Daisy Cutter pours a clear copper gold with a 1cm foamy white head. The aroma is great juicy fruity hops. The taste is a bitter earthy pine, malt sweetness & biscuit then some fruitiness in the finish. A really well made 5.2% pale ale which can stand beside many IPAs. I can see why it is their flagship (I overheard the bartender saying it is 70% of their sales!) it really grows on you.

Received this one in a recent trade with spycow. Can poured into a duvel tulip.

A - Pours out hazy copper orange with a huge three finger tall white head leaving spotty lacing down the glass.

S - Smells of pungent citric hops, light citric fruits, sweet caramel malt, and a touch of dryness. It only seems to get sweeter as it comes to room temperature.

T - Starts off with a nice citric hop bite up front slowly giving way to a mix of sweet caramel malt, light citric fruits, and a tiny bit of spiciness. A bit too thin in the feel for my liking. The finish is a mix of hop bitterness and a thin, watery, feel that lingers for a short period of time.

M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. A touch thin to begin with, getting a bit better as it warms. Finish is quite bitter.

O - Pretty good. I liked how balanced this one was. It was just a touch too thin in the feel but still a great hoppy pale ale. I would love to try this one on-tap some day.

Clean hop aroma, pours a clear light amber with a thin white head. Starts with a touch of caramel malts, with a medium body, finishes with a nice clean citrus/pine hop finish. A very nice and clean APA.

16 oz can purchased from Binny’s. Pours a hazy dark orange color with lasting inch of white creamy head that fades to thick lacing and a thin wisp of head that evenly coats the meniscus. Aroma is bright dank hop bitterness with a distinct absence of malt presence. Flavor is big and beautiful hop bitterness, and is simply that. Big orange citrus notes are the focus of this beer. Alcohol is completely masked. Medium bodied, full carbonation, citrus finish. Delicious.

Pours a bright amber with a bubbly foam head. Pleasant grassy hops aroma with some pine. Strong hops taste on a clean palette. Came from a can!

Pint can pours a hazy golden straw with a two finger white head and nice lacing. Aromas of dank hops, citrus, and pine. Flavor is mild to medium bitter that coats the back of the tongue. Pretty good pale ale.

16oz can, courtesy of Frank, pours with a slightly hopped hazed gold to copper body that supports a thin light tan head. The aroma offers up an inviting mix of citrusy juiciness and malts as well as floral hoppiness. The taste delivers a pleasing array of bitter to resiny hoppiness balanced out by a smooth malty backbone. There are moments of smooth hop flavor but it gets increasingly resiny and grassy into the finish. Lovely Pale.

(draft @ O’Leary’s Public House - Chicago, IL) Clear gold pour with a thin white head. Dank and earthy hop aroma, very Nelson-like, with a bit of sweetness under it. Dank and earthy bitingly bitter hop flavor that leaves a lingering bitterness throughout. Very nice.

Tap in Mason jar in wrigleyville. Dark gold with thick white head. Very hoppy in the nose. Crisp and bitter, one dimensional but does well in that dimension. Strong bite that doesn’t last too long. Solid.
