16 oz can, thanks Ryan. Lightly hazy amber-yellow; frothy white head; huge lacing. Aroma grapefruit, pineapple, musty florals, bread, pepper. Flavor is similar to aroma, and in addition there might be a hint of pine resin in here as well; finish is pretty dry. Mouthfeel is medium and closer to frothy than to fizzy. Glad that this is a well-regarded beer without being over-the-top bitter; it’s actually quite a lot better balanced and a lot less bitter than I’d expected. This is certainly no 99th percentile beer overall, but a top example in the style for sure.

Emptied this can into a true pint glass. I was greeted by a bright and hazy yellowish orange and a just off-white head. Aromas of sweet fruits like peach and pineapple with a nice hop infusion. Taste is just as pleasant accompanied by fruity notes with just a tint of resin and malt backbone playing along. This is a damn fine Pale, see it, buy it. Gotta make it to the taproom soon.

Pounder can picked up as an extra in a trade with Pmoney over on BA... Nice trade Patrick, thanks for the cool extra.
Poured into my standard tulip... 2 finger rises up and sticks around for a while leaving good lace as it drops... fairly clear golden brew.
Aromas is citrus and floral hops... pretty clean.
Bitterness up front on the palate reminds me of Dandelion brews I have had in the past... hop flavors trail off a little quickly, doesn’t really strike me as "West Coast".. Very drinkable.
Light body with good carbonation.

Tap @ Half Acre: Had this from a can plenty of times, but it deserves a draft review. Cloudy, semi-translucent golden color, topped with a clump white head that leaves some nice, chunky lacing on the glass. Lovely, pure & raw aroma with an abundance of fresh hops. Grassy, wet, leafy, with a touch of back-end peppery spice. Could easily be mistaken for a wet-hop beer. So vibrant & clean, like smelling a freshly cut lawn. Hints of mango peel & slight sugar cookie malt for a finishing tropical sweetness. The best word I can think of to describe the taste is "bright". Daisy Cutter is so familiar, yet still stands out from many other pale ales due to its excellent balance & ever present freshness. Grass, wet floral notes, hop leaves, faint white pepper, bitter citrus peel, a touch of mango... Just a great execution. Solid bitterness, but not overdone. There’s no mistaking this for an IPA. Crisp, medium body, finishing mostly dry. Highly drinkable with tons of flavor. Wish this was available in Michigan.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2014 Oh ok? On tap @ mikkeller bar. Pours hop hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is classic hop forward with lots of citrus fruits and some sweet tropical notes as well - pineapple, mango and orange . Taste is just fresh and crisp with a clean hop profile. Lots of pine, tropical notes, citrus notes and just like hop dust all over! Could session this big time!!

Daisy Cutter pours a clear copper gold with a 1cm foamy white head. The aroma is great juicy fruity hops. The taste is a bitter earthy pine, malt sweetness & biscuit then some fruitiness in the finish. A really well made 5.2% pale ale which can stand beside many IPAs. I can see why it is their flagship (I overheard the bartender saying it is 70% of their sales!) it really grows on you.

Received this one in a recent trade with spycow. Can poured into a duvel tulip.
A - Pours out hazy copper orange with a huge three finger tall white head leaving spotty lacing down the glass.
S - Smells of pungent citric hops, light citric fruits, sweet caramel malt, and a touch of dryness. It only seems to get sweeter as it comes to room temperature.
T - Starts off with a nice citric hop bite up front slowly giving way to a mix of sweet caramel malt, light citric fruits, and a tiny bit of spiciness. A bit too thin in the feel for my liking. The finish is a mix of hop bitterness and a thin, watery, feel that lingers for a short period of time.
M - Medium body and flavor with moderate carbonation. A touch thin to begin with, getting a bit better as it warms. Finish is quite bitter.
O - Pretty good. I liked how balanced this one was. It was just a touch too thin in the feel but still a great hoppy pale ale. I would love to try this one on-tap some day.

Clean hop aroma, pours a clear light amber with a thin white head. Starts with a touch of caramel malts, with a medium body, finishes with a nice clean citrus/pine hop finish. A very nice and clean APA.

16 oz can purchased from Binny’s. Pours a hazy dark orange color with lasting inch of white creamy head that fades to thick lacing and a thin wisp of head that evenly coats the meniscus. Aroma is bright dank hop bitterness with a distinct absence of malt presence. Flavor is big and beautiful hop bitterness, and is simply that. Big orange citrus notes are the focus of this beer. Alcohol is completely masked. Medium bodied, full carbonation, citrus finish. Delicious.

Pours a bright amber with a bubbly foam head. Pleasant grassy hops aroma with some pine. Strong hops taste on a clean palette. Came from a can!
