Finally, been on my list for a few years. Sampled very fresh from can. Nice tropical fruits, mainly peaches in the aroma. Light to medium mouthfeel, loads of fruits. Nice long bitter finish, much more than I was expecting. This strikes me as a fantastic session. Very nice stuff!

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
16oz can shared, pours medium orange with white fluffy head. Aroma is full of floral aromatic hops with medium malt. Mild lacing on the glass. The flavor is full of aromatic hops both floral and some grassiness. Almost a flowerful flavor. This is a terrific apa. Medium bitterness with is wonderful. Now I want more.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From can. Pours a light, clean gold in glass. Floral nose of tropical fruit and a surprising amount of maltiness. Taste is pineapple juice and a persistent, grainy malt undertone. Full bodied and bitter throughout. Vague honey-esque sweetness ebbs in as this guy warms. Distinctive hops profile. Overall, I was a tad disappointed. While unique, this beer is too abrasive without any big payout.

Clear amber colour. Muted aroma, some hops and light malts and some hint of floral hops. Medium body, watery body, and a midly bitter finish. This beer was highly recommended to my by a few and it seems to be a chicago favourite but I fail to see why this is to be. forgetful brew.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tasted from a pint can. It poured a hazy golden amber hue with a frothy white head. Had a hopped grapefruit-lemon zest aroma with a bitter sweet fruity citrus hop taste.

Nice aromas of pineapple and coconut upon sniffing open can. Pouring into a glass really releases and intensifies these aromas and reveals a moderately clear, pale golden beer. Head was white and 1 finger thick. Very mild on front end bitterness followed by a back end full of fruity, hoppy goodness. Pineapple flavors with almost none of the bitterness typically associated with hoppy beers. Very easy and pleasant to drink. One of my favorite American pale ales from an awesome Chicago brewery.

On draft at the Renaissance, Chicago O’Hare. My first local beer during my trip to Chi-town and my first sample from this brewer. A hopped up American Pale Ale. Somewhat unique for the style.
