4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Thank you Adam for shipping me this want. I poured the can into a Sam Adams glass it gave off a wonderful big white head that sat on top of a clear golden colored elixir. The hop presence hits you first in the nose. You get a ton of citrus and resin character coming right at you, not much in the way of malts at all. In the taste it reminded me of an IPA so I think if you are looking for a balanced brew this isnít for you but if you are looking for a hop bomb I highly recommend it. It had a good amount of carbonation so was light and crisp in the mouth. To me this would be a great summer BBQ brew if it was local and available that is

Draft @ Half Acre tap room and liked it enough to bring home a 16 oz. can four pack. Lightly hazy gold / orange color with soapy, white head. Nose starts with sweet grain with then tangerines and piney grapefruit. The malt bill produces a nice solid backbone of caramel and bread. The hops are consistent throughout the brew. Bright citrus notes, pine resin and light grass. If I said this is well balanced, that would be an understatement. Bitterness is lightly lingering. Highly drinkable, very nicely balanced and absolutely refreshing. Do yourself a favor get this fresh from the source, a can with age will not do it justice.

2013 can to a tulip glass. Pouts a clear honey yellow color with a nice foamy white head. Aroma is grassy and piney hops, citrus and some malt sweetness. Taste is hops forward, a little soapy and grassy. Only faint malt flavor. Medium, astringent mouthfeel.

On tap at Romans. Golden amber with a creamy thin bone lacemaker. Aroma is a bit stalky with floral and citrus hops and a pale malt backer. Taste is floral and pale with toasted malt and a strong bitter finish. Okay, though a touch bland.

Can, thanks to preismj! Almost clear golden liquid with a light amber hue and medium off-white head. Aroma of fresh hops, flowers, mango, weed, pineapple, light bread, grapefruit and lemon peel. Loads of tropical fruit. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter (balanced) with notes mango, bread, toast, biscuit, flowers and citrus. The malt base comes forward a lot more in the taste. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Just a great APA, one of the best Iíve had. Dry and over the top hoppy, but still balanced.

Crisp citrus hops on the aroma and on the palate. Mildly bready malts provide nice balance. A classic, extremely well executed pale ale.

Can. 11/1/13. Pours a translucent straw-gold with a fluffy, thick white head. Aroma is citrus, grass, leafy, really clean and crisp. Taste is crisp, clean, very fruity and floral, fresh, slightly peppery and spicy, light bitterness, resin; finish is subtle, bitter citrus rind, spicy. Light lacing throughout. Medium carbonation. Mouth feel is full and somewhat coating. Really nice. Alcohol is almost not noticeable; sessionable,

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Fresh, earthy aroma laced with juicy hops. Hazy golden body topped by thick, white head and stubborn lace.
Silly, smooth hop profile. Mostly earthy/floral; bitterness kept in check by the malt backbone. Imminently sessionable. All breweries should aspire to make a hoppy beer in tallboys on this level.
