4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Pastor (776) - Skowhegan, Maine, USA - APR 23, 2011Thank you Adam for shipping me this want. I poured the can into a Sam Adams glass it gave off a wonderful big white head that sat on top of a clear golden colored elixir. The hop presence hits you first in the nose. You get a ton of citrus and resin character coming right at you, not much in the way of malts at all. In the taste it reminded me of an IPA so I think if you are looking for a balanced brew this isn’t for you but if you are looking for a hop bomb I highly recommend it. It had a good amount of carbonation so was light and crisp in the mouth. To me this would be a great summer BBQ brew if it was local and available that is

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 vyvvy (3263) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - MAY 23, 2013
Pours clear copper with a persistent soapy off-white head. The aroma has mildly toasted malt, tropical hoppiness, berries, smooth citrus and just the right amount of sweetness for balance. It has a medium / light body that’s a bit rough and has some fairly sharp carbonation. The flavor starts off with dryish crackery malt, spicy hops, wood, harsh earthiness and some grapefruit zest. The finish is harsh, resiny and has a bit of tropical fruit added to the rest of the hop traits. Pretty solid beer.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 kramer (3878) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 22, 2013
Can. Pours a beautiful dark gold to copper body with a large frothy tight bubbled bright white head that had very nice retention, leaving lots of sticky lacing. The nose is bright and floral hoppiness, very vibrant and fresh smelling, with minimal malt impact. This beer lets the hops take over as far as the aroma is concerned. The flavor is mostly hops as well with a leafy floral hoppiness, it tastes very green and fresh. Light to moderate bitterness that lingers well on the finish encouraging you to take another sip. Light bready and caramel maltiness, very dry and well attenuated. Lighter bodied and very drinkable, it’s almost on the thin side in texture, but the crispness of the hops makes up for it. Overall, a very easy drinking APA, this beer embodies what I want from the style, lots of hops, non intrusive malt, and a light bitterness.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 pablo951 (149) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 20, 2013
Had it on tap at Candlelite in Chicago, poured a clear yellow with a medium head and even lacing. The taste is light with a cascade hop finish. A perfect summer beer.

16 oz can from trade with dforonow. Pours a mostly clear golden orange color with a small fizzy head that quickly fades. Aromas are wet grass, citrus, flowers, and grapes. Taste is hoppy without much malt to balance. Surprising that this can be called a Pale Ale and not an IPA. Light sweetness and light bitterness. Hops are very present, grassy, floral, and citrusy. Medium body and a fizzy mouthfeel. Overall, slightly disappointed. Seems more like a slightly average IPA than a top rated Pale Ale. Not a big fan of the fizzy carbonation.

On tap at House of 1000. Fresh citrusy hops, bursting with aroma. Light grassy notes, really pops. Orange blossom and ozone. Pale golden clear with pillowy white lacing head. Medium-light body with medium carbonation - smooth. Starts dry with tons of hop flavor. Bright, citrus, pine resin, and ozone. Dry finish with tons of hop flavor but not much bitterness. Nice dry APA.
