Had a few pints of this on tap at the Bad Apple in Chicago. I was really not expecting much out of this APA, but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Came out in a tulip glass and had a nice light orange color with a good amount of carbonation and a one finger width white head. The aroma was very pleasant for an APA... it consisted of fresh hops, flowers, some light pine and some very light citrus hints. The taste is about the same with a good amount of fresh hops and floral coming out. It also left a pleasant bitterness in the back of my mouth. Extremely easy to drink and very enjoyable on a hot summer day. Impressive for a beer that I was not expecting much from...

Can. Pours a gorgeous gold with a medium fine grained lacy head. Nose is grapefruit, lime, white pepper, toast, and stone fruit. Sweet and fruity up front, with a decent amount of citrus acidity. However, thereís a lot of bitterness that runs through it all the way; it stays and runs through the finish, keeping what otherwise might be too sweet a beer clean. Very refreshing.

Can at US Cellular watching Red Sox beat up on White Sox. Good to find good beer at the ballpark. Nothing amazing here. Just a really good easy drinking pale with a good clean hop flavor. Would drink this while mowing the lawn any day.

A great pale ale, it tastes great. Itís a little bold for a pale ale, with just a touch of hoppiness.
