COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Double Daisy Cutter is a monster version of the original Daisy Cutter Pale Ale. A heftier grain bill amps up the weight and double dry hopping insures there’s enough hops to recede your gums.

A specialty brew. Grab it when you see it. 8% ABV

Serving type - bottle, poured into tulip glass Aroma - citrus, lemon, grapefruit Appearance - hazy orange, peach head This is a very drinkable beer. I think it hides the booze very well. It has somewhat of a tropical feel to it, with a little bit of pine. A nice example of a DIPA

Bottle @ home. Hazy dark orange color, medium to full sized white to off-white head. Aroma is lightly malts, hops, fruit hops, grapefruit, resin and pine. Taste malts, hops, grapefruit, sticky resinous hops, resin, moderately bitter. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. A good full flavored resinous Imperial IPA. Very nice!

Love this beer. Only wish it was available more often. Much better on tap though a bottle is just fine. Thankful I know people who live close enough to pick up a couple bottles when I can’t make it down for a growler before it sells out. Hoping this is produced more frequently with the expansion.

Bottle at the FF tasting at Pauls. Pours a light golden orange body with white lacing. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of citrus fruits, grapefruit, pine, light spice and some caramel malt. A bit more malty sweetness than I prefer, but still nice. Though this doesn’t touch the Double Galaxy version.

Tasted on tap at Headquarters Beercade. It poured a hazy amber with a wispy white head and minimal lacing. This bad boy packs a powerful hop aroma and taste with a strong grassy taste. And at 8.5% ABV its defiantly not for the faint of heart. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz bottle. Tasted on 3/13/15. Bottle from West Lakeview Liquor. Aroma is fantastic with tons or fruity, juicy hops. Amazing flavor & perfectly balanced. A must try if you love hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample at the FF tasting. Poured a syrupy light brownish/gold with a smaller foamy white head. Aroma of citrus, taqngerine, oranges, lime, lemon, earthy hops, brown bread and honey. Medium body with stronger carbonation and an averagae duration on the aftertaste. Flavor is a bit less complex than the aroma, notes of sweet citrus, light grains, touch of fresh hop cones, honey and caramel malts.

Süßlich herber deutlich grasiger Antrunk. Honignoten im Mittelteil, der Alkohol ist erkennbar. Vollmundig, die Hopfigkeit steigt, bleibt aber süffig da die doch deutliche Bitterkeit weich ist. Darüber hinaus angenehm herb, langer getreidiger Hopfennachhall. 11/13/11/13/13/12
