3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Can via my cousin. Pours a hazy dull orange. White head that is frothy. Aroma of bitter citrus and slight dankness. Taste is overly bitter with a very dry and tiny bit of sweetness. Definitely a palate wrecker. Not that good as an everyday DIPA but a nice change of pace.

4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Smooth like a coastline’s fine sand during a falling tide. As aromatic as a dew laden prairie on misty June morning. Plus the label features hipster donkeys exploring outer space.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured from a 16 oz. can into a Half Acre branded seidel.
Pours a hazy orange amber with a fluffy white three finger head; plenty of lacing as the head recedes. The smell of ripe fruit and citrus rind are upfront. The taste of green grass and juicy passionfruit transitions into slighty sweet malt and finishes with grapefruit rind bitterness. Abundant carbonation and a heavy malt backbone lends to a slick mouthfeel with plenty of body; seem heavier than regular Double Daisy Cutter. A delicious variation on a great brew!

Thanks to Readbaron and Dunt for the bottle
A-- Poured a dark, dirty hazy orange amber color. One finger off white dirty head. Faded down and stayed at just above film through drinking this. Great lacing as it left a lot of spotty lacing through drinking this.
S-- Thick and earthy. Lots of grapefruit, mango, passionfruit, and orange. Very earthy and thick smell. Really reminded me of what stone and wood Pacific Ale would be as a double pale ale. Just bigger.
T-- Started off slow and picked up with more air. Lots of pungent mango and tropical fruits. Very earthy, gritty taste, very herbal in a way.
M-- Thick and rich. Sticky and somewhat heavy. Very coating and with a heavy tropical finish.
O-- Good Double Pale Ale. Find it ironic to get a Galaxy hop beer from Chicago with Australian grown Galaxy Hops. Reminds me a lot of the Stone and Wood Pale Ale here but this is much bigger, grittier, and dirtier than what can be found here. Easy to drink and ABV is very well hidden. Well done DAPA.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured from a bomber into a tasting cup.
A: Pours a dark orange with dark straw hues around the edges. Fluffy off-white head with sticky pillows of lace following down the cup.
S: Great fruitiness up front, some pears and apples, with a floral sweetness following that. This smell really just pops.
T: The taste is also great. Light sweet fruits at the front followed by a light malty middle that brings it down then finally a piney bitter finish that really rounds it out.
M: Medium bodied. Great carbonation with a very smooth swallow. Just glides down the throat and leaves a resin bitterness down the tongue and throat.
O: This was great. The taste hit every note you would want to feel and it was incredibly drinkable. Now I must quest for this on draft.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle shared by Thorpe429. Thanks Mike!
The beer is hazy and dark yellow hued, with a quarter inch of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. The aroma is the best aspect of this beer, with a heavy dose of Galaxy hops. The flavor offers some grapefruit and hops, with additional notes of alcohol and tropical fruit. The feel is relatively thick on the palate. A good brew, though the aroma led me to believe it would be better. Alcohol could be disguised better. A good DIPA.
