Itís OK. Iím a hop-head, so the Belgian-like flavor, palate and body donít quite work for me. Itís pleasant, but not my preference.

Enjoyed on tap at Fountainhead in Chicago, IL two days before running in the Chicago Marathon. Really good blonde ale. Clearish yellow in appearance, aroma is of a good hop presence with light yeast. Taste is very crisp, good malt/hop balance, very refreshing.

16 oz. can from stevemastny and mattarata- thanks again for the four-pack, guys! I cracked these open during a Sunday session while watching NFL games with some buddies, and everyone loved this. Pours a clear, bright orange-golden color with a small cream-colored head. Aroma of lemon citrus, herbal hops, grass, pine, and biscuity malts. Flavor of pine resin, grassy, herbal hops, biscuity malts, lemon, orange, and floral notes. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a fresh, herbal mouthfeel. A 4.2% golden ale might not sound exciting on paper, but this is excellent.

9/17/10. Pint can courtesy thetomG! Clear golden orange pour with a fluffy white head that fades to a film fast. Mild grainy aroma with a huge dose of bitter hop. Light malt flavor with HUGE pine... this is like drinking golden gin... but a little sweeter an maltier. Jesus hops... a little odd, honestly.

I canít put my finger on it, but this doesnít seem to be the lightest beer they brew. Perhaps alcohol content. But the flavors are very pronounced: hops, spice, granola, orange. Thick and chewy. Had the four pack.

Growler shared on the bus to the Michigan Brewers Festival during RBSG. Pours a clear gold with a thin white head. Crisp grain on the nose, clean and sweet. Light grain flavors. Crisp and clean. Quite drinkable.

Sample from growler on RBSG bus to MBGSF shared by ?? Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma was dry grainy, pale malt, herbal, with some citrus fruits. The flavor was dry, grassy, grainy malt with a splash of honey, light citrus and lightly floral. Light-medium bodied and a decent way to kick off the bus trip.

Pours a golden color with a good head and some lace. The aroma is grapefruit and citrus with a mild floral sweetness. The flavor is very nice and malty both in the good grainy and fruity characters respectively along with some citrus hop balance. Tasty stuff.

On the bus, RBSG. Strong simcoe hoppy aroma. Minerally. Very unique, like apricots in the nose. Medium pale gold. Strong sour edge with a bit of biscuity malt and honey. Pretty bitter but not overwhelmingly so. Interesting fruit flavors, citrus and otherwise. Pretty cool and flavorful for a light beer.

Sampled from the growler on the way to MiSBF, thanks to the kind sole who brought this. Poured a clear gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was quite grassy with some hay and a hint of underlying pine. Flavor was quite similar with the main note being grass and hay and pine backing that up.
