2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
I had this on tap at Half Acre. The beer pours a light murky gold with a decent white head, nothing of note. The aroma is light hops pretty boring. The taste is bad, its a trumped of version of a bud light. Light hop, mostly skunk and a super light feel. Mouthfeel is water and not something I would drink more than half a pint of. Quite disappointing

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Open bar glass at Alternatives gala....great treat for an open bar. Definitely a light weight ale; nice color and very mild nose...an excellent session beer....not a hoppy beer whatever the promo....but good sipping material. Had a Daisy Cutter right before, so expectations were high.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A light golden ale. It is easy to drink, somewhat flavorful, it definitely has that over some of itís counterparts.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pint can from johnbjaeger on BA - thanks! Definitely the least of the beers Iíve had from Half Acre, but itís also clearly intended to be a light and unassuming session brew. Clean straw golden with prickly carbonation, light pear and yeast in the nose. Body is slightly slick, loses character a bit too quickly. And the dry-hopping is only moderately present, leading to a more anonymous beer than Iíd hoped for. Still, decent quaffer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is a big beers drinkers light beer, great for Sunday football or a long day of tailgating. No hop flavor and light on the alcohol, very refreshing. It has characteristics of a belgian blonde ale mixed with an american pilsner. Some hints of citrus but no hop finish.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted on 1/11/11 from a 16oz can purchased at Lush Roscoe. Pours clear golden with a thick and frothy white head that leaves thick and frothy lace. The nose is dominated by the hops which go from apricot to resin, to citrus bitterness, along with just a bit of bread malt. The flavor is once again driven by the hops with a good amount of citrus, bitterness, resin, and fruitiness, with the light bread malt still acting as a backbone. The body is light with lively carbonation and a long bitter hops finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
16oz can from Binnys. Pours a crystal clear straw color with a thin white head. Aroma is hoppy, but not much else. Medium on the palate with medium carbonation. Very mild flavor with traces of malt and hops. At 4.2%, I could drink a few of these.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at the Hilton Chicago bar, several times. Pours golden with a dissipating white head. Fruity aroma. Light bodied without the watery mouthfeel. Nice pale pilsneresque malt backbone countered with a very nice lemon and pine bitterness. Semi dry finish, with a hint of tannins and grass. Excellent session beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Sopo in Chicago. Pours a cloudy, golden-orange colored body with a finger-width, frothy, mostly white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is wheat, some earth, citrus, lemon-grass, and florals. Flavor is similar. Biscuity wheat with a light and grainy sweetness, citrusy lemon-grass, earth, and florals. Finishes with a light, earthy and grassy bitterness that is crisp and dry before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Light body and light-moderate carbonation. Overall, a crisp, easy drinking golden ale. Some nice hop flavors are clearly present making this a go to at a bar like this.
