Pounder can from Caponeís. Pours turbid deep gold with 1-finger frothy white head. Nose is huge black peppery and tropical fruity hops. Tastes piney, hoppy, with an IBU-heavy astringent finish. Smooth and very hoppy.

Nitro on tap at the brewery. Pours mostly unclear lemon hazy with a white head. Aroma is subtle, sweet golden malts. Flavor is a little too subtle too, sweet golden and light earthy malts that go down smooth.

This beer comes through as described. It pleases a large cross section of the worlds population. I quick survey showed that 89% found this beer agreeable. It offer balance, spunk, citrusy freshness, and half acre hop Notes to keep it true. It a good beer that I really enjoyed after a two or three year absence from it. Wifey did too! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: grassy, bread. Appearance: murky yellow, thin head. Taste: good, my taste buds are failing on picking out flavors, must come back. Palate: creamy, medium finish. Overall: enjoyable

On tap into a 5 oz English tulip. The aroma is initially buttery biscuits with an undertone of grass. Eventually, as it settles out, a toast (bread toast) like aroma comes through. It pours a hazy, pale straw yellow with a white head that doesnít retain very well. A very trace, micro-bubble lace is left behind. The taste is mostly a medium level sweet, with a complimentary light / medium-light bitter. The light body has a thin-ish, oily texture with a soft carbonation. Thereís a light spice and grassy with a citrus zest at the finish. Very clean, very crisp, very faint, quick grassy aftertaste.

Cask with Nelson Sauvin hops at Half Acre. Room temperature practically..apparently they havenít invested in firkin jackets. Musty tropical aroma. Earthy tropical, some buttery oddness beneath. A little unrefined. Guess Iíve never had the regular Goss, so hard to fully gauge. Earthy fresh hop feel. Buttery ringwood-esque tastes detract.

Pours like bud. No aroma. Easy to drink. Slightly bitter. Best reason to drink- great price at portofinos in Chicago.

Can poured into a shaker. Pours a hazy dark gold with 2 fingers thick white head. Aroma of straw and grain with a little earthy herbal hoppiness and something slightly sweet. Taste is light bitter. Earthy and herbal with grains and a little more sweetness in the finish. Light bodied with a slick texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, not bad. Not my favorite beer but very drinkable.

Tap at Half Acre Tap Room, Chicago. Poured a hazy light amber with a thin white head. The aroma is weak malt. The flavour is medium bitter with a malty liqourice hoppy palate. Nothing too special for me.
