COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Heyoka is a western charged firecracker. We conjured the classics in Chinook and Amarillo then laid them on a bed of pale malt. This India Pale Ale shoots straight to the bitter edge before falling into a mellow haze. Deep gold, 7% ABV and ready to travel into the distance. The Heyoka resides in the opposite and is said to use the wind as sticks to beat the drum of thunder.

16 oz can poured a hazy gold with a lasting off white head. Aromas of bread, pine, grapefruit, lemon zest and light dank bud. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, pine, grapefruit and light lemon zest with a smooth dry bitter lingering citrus finish.

Tallboy from Ogilvie. Pours clear golden orange with off white head. Aromas of tangerine, citrusy hops, grass, bit of pale malt. Flavor of grassy and citrusy hops particularly orange and tangerine with enough malt to keep it honest. Packs nice bitter finish. At $3 a can makes for a nice train ride home.

Hazy golden-orange, large head. Very subtle hops aroma. Taste is some tropical flavor and candied orange peel moving to bitter pine resin. Dry citrus finish. Clean body, not heavy but not a pushover either.

Pour out of 16 oz can, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of pineapple, grapefruit, orange, some mango into nice floral, herbal hops, some slight grass with a hint of caramel. Taste was bitter earth, grass, and herbs into sweet orange, grapefruit, and mango, slight white fruits, some caramel finishing bitter. Nicely done.

Clear golden orange in color with white foamy head... Aroma of dank citrus and pine hops, notes of mango and tropical fruits, sweet caramel malts... Flavor is initially citrus and sweet caramel malts, gives way to dank spicy and pine hop bitterness on palate... Solid ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap: The aroma consists of moderate citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruits, and lemon. Itís a hazy golden-orange with a one finger white head that fades to a thick film outlined by a thicker ring. The flavor starts with moderate citrus and lighter tropical fruits. The finish moderate grapefruit, light-moderate dank notes, light lemon peel, and florals. Itís medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel.

Tap at Half Acre. Clear yellow to light gold pour. Soapy white head. Nice dank aroma with a bit of pine. Lower malt taste. Not quite the depth as the Space IPA for me.
