4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Love this brew, it combines the dry lager profile I crave and mixes it up with the thicker IPA styles I....also crave, at least in the summer. Looks like a slightly darker filtered lager, smells more citrusy than piney. Quite sweet, so one pint is my limit per session. But it’s great as one of several other lighter beers in an afternoon. I wish they made this all year, I would always have a can in the fridge, this would be great in winter, too.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pale golden color out of the can with a short lived white head. Great big hoppy nose with hints of real alcohol. Big flavors of pine, bitter orange peel, tropical fruit, and a burning alcohol sensation in the finish. Lots of hops and lots of alcohol.

Can. Pours bright orange with white head. Big tropical and sweet fruits on the nose. Passionfruit and mango come to mind. Taste is very refreshing. Loads of more tropical fruits. Very easy drinking.

Taster at the tap room. Jeez, about all I wrote down on this was "heavy catbox smell." I recall then explaining to my companions that I mean that as a good thing, but usually associate it with Amarillos. Clearly some of the newer hop varieties here can dig in that impression just as well, too. Should probably have had a full glass, but this was a pub/brewpub crawl, and I was pacing myself admirably.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can. Hazy golden yellow with a medium sized creamy white head. Good retention and lace. Grapefruit, citrus, light biscuit, light sweet tropical fruit. Medium sweet with a pleasant level of bitterness. I wouldn’t say easy drinkable, you can feel that it has some balls, but I think it’s quite elegant and pleasant. Not rough but robust.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can from Mikkeller webshop. Pours bright orange with a thick white cap on top. Nose is loaded with tropical fruits - massive orange and passionfruit over the top of familiar lager yeast. Taste is true to a well rounded lager and then the hops hit you - massive passionfruit, pineapple and orange. Very juicy and drinks a treat. So good

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draught at the brewery, 4/17/14
Chill-hazed deep golden/copper body is topped by plentiful white head showing strong retention.
Hugely hoppy nose is full of strong peachy-lemon fruitiness and a fair amount of acidity. Pine emerges quickly and alongside the grapefruit and heavy leaf-like astringency, it quickly becomes clear this is going to be very aggressive. Bready malts produce a sourdough-like note in conjunction with all of this hop resin, while there is a touch of alcohol warmth on the finish and a bit of fusel character.
Unbelievably acidic in the mouth. Hop resin, lemon concentrate, pine sap, etc....Very well-attenuated, too much so, as there’s not nearly enough malt to balance. It’s not even the extreme amount of hops used, rather just the poorly executed boiling schedule for them. Way too much bitterness and borderline sour/aspirin-like. Damn. Ok, you know how to boil a shit ton of hops and make an unbalanced beer. Good work.

3.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
From brewery. Strong aroma of fresh hops. Herbal, floral, citrus, you could really smell the resin. The lager base was decent. Hop heads will love it. I reckon the hops maybe were a bit out of place at certain points in the sip. Serving: Can
